What is assessment ?

Assessment is the ongoing process of gathering, analysing and reflecting on evidence to make informed and consistent judgements to improve future student learning.

How does MPQC assess ?

• Plant Operator Competence Scheme This is the industry benchmark training and assessment scheme covering over 50 items of equipment and static plant. If you have plant not covered in our extensive portfolio MPQC will design a training and assessment package to suit.
• Vocational Qualifications  The MPQC Skills Centre operates its own assessment centre offering a suite of industry specfic QCF qualifications at all levels. A team of over 20 professional experienced and qualified assessors are administered from our Nottingham head office.
• Blasting Operations Competence Scheme   MPQC operate a scheme which embraces a suite of specifically developed QCF qualifications in blasting operations, a detailed audit which must be undertaken within a five year timeframe and a carding system dependent on qualified task.
